Warm & Cosy Porcelain Lamps

Darkness is like light, and the night is shining like the day.

Porcelain or china is a very pure, fine-grained clay with a translucent bodythat is often very white after firing. It is made from a mixture of kaolin, feldspar and quartz, which are converted into glass and the silicate mullite during firing at high temperatures, resulting in the transparency and high strength so typical of porcelain. These properties make porcelain an ideal material for making lamps – although porcelain is much more difficult to handle on the potter’s wheel than conventional clay.

The Galaxis table lamp casts bright points of light into the room with its simple perforated decoration, while the light from the light columns shimmers gently through the carved letters of the poems that I have chosen to match my design.

Both designs can be made in different sizes on request, depending on what they are intended for. And perhaps you also know a poem that you would like to have engraved on one of the light columns? I am curious to hear about your wishes.
