Inspired By Nature
The beauty of creation is a reflection of God’s infinite love and creativity.
Angelus Silesius
When it comes to my artistic ideas, I find my inspiration mainly in nature.
And I enjoy creating artworks for the garden and our surroundings that blend seamlessly into nature in their simplicity and beauty, without harming it or impacting our environment in any way.
I originally designed my Floating Stones as an artwork for public space. But in a smaller size and floating in a large, hand thrown bowl of water, they are also a beautiful decoration for interiors, which at the same time provides the surrounding with sufficient humidity.
My raku-fired Fire Birds are an ode to all colourful and cute songbirds, whose golden twittering cheers us up and makes us happy at any time of year, if only we open ourselves up to it.
As a pretty and simple decoration in the garden also serve my Gazing Balls, which retain their colour and beauty even in winter when the flowers have faded. By the way – gazing balls originally also had a purpose: They were considered to bring good luck and ward off evil.
